ABOUT VICTIM SERVICES TORONTO

Victim Services Toronto provides immediate on-site crisis, trauma, safety and support services to victims of crime and sudden tragedy. This agency works closely, and in partnership with, the Toronto Police and depends on community support and donations in order to provide essential victim assistance programs to the City of Toronto.

LIFELINE DONATIONS

Victim Services Toronto (VST) provides an emotional lifeline for victims in the immediate aftermath of crime and tragedy. It costs approximately $500 for VST to accompany police on scene with victims. VST helps individuals and families cope with the emotional and psychological effects of crime. VST also provides practical assistance such as arranging food, shelter, clothing, funerals or travel visas and more. By donating $500 you are giving a victim an emotional lifeline — on scene emotional and practical assistance by VST’s Crisis Counsellors.
Multiple lifelines may be purchased. Donations of any amount are accepted, and all donations over $25.00 will receive a charitable tax receipt. Donate online, over the phone. For inquiries please contact (416) 808-7845.
